About the Author
Dr. Elizabeth R. Henry (Dr. Liz) is a board-certified pediatrician, parent coach, speaker, author, and workshop facilitator with over 20 years of experience. She is a trusted advisor to parents and youth and founder of Dr. Liz Consulting. She graduated from Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. 

In addition to her one-on-one coaching, she leads student and parent programs for high schools, colleges, national youth organizations and conferences. She has appeared as a guest on numerous television and radio shows and has been honored for her work by several associations and publications including NJBIZ who named her a Healthcare Hero and one of the Top 50 Women in Business. 

She is also a lifetime Girl Scout, member of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc., The National Drifters, Inc., and a past board member of the Raritan Valley Community College Foundation. She is married and has a daughter in her twenties.
